Not everyone has the room for really large pieces of gym equipment at home, but if you have the money and space, I say go for those big hulking multi gyms. Chances are once you have one of these, you aren’t going to need anything else except possibly a piece of cardio equipment like a treadmill or stair climber, but you can add some sport fitness to your routine to get your aerobic workout in.
If you have tons of room, you might want to look into getting home gym machines dedicated to a specific workout. Most people though will tend to look for a gym machine that can handle several different
workouts instead of just one or two. I unfortunately don’t have the room for something so large in my home, but if you do, here are some of the best options I found.
The BodyCraft X4 Home Gym basically has it all and then some. The thing I like most about it is its four sided design with four different stations, each with different components to give you a wide variety of workouts. It boasts having over 150 exercises for nearly every muscle group of your body.
One thing that certain people miss about the gym is the social aspect of getting together with friends and working out. The four sided design of the X4 Home Gym allows you to have friends over so you can work out together still. Or, if you have family members that also want to workout, you can do so together.
If the X4 is a bit too much for you, consider the BodyCraft Galena Pro Home Gym. It is just as effective, but a bit more sleek and streamlined. It is a two station design made to fit into a corner so that it takes up a lot less space. The price is also about one third of the price of X4, which makes it a fantastic deal for the price. You can also get the optional leg press for an even better lowere body workout.
If you’ve got the space, go for the X4, because it does deliver a slightly superior workout to a lot of other home gym machines out there. If money and space are an issue, the Galena Pro Home Gym is an excellent choice.
